so my tank has been set up for 6 months now and i have lost some fish during that time. So i have removed what fish were left (powder blue and two clowns) from my 180 and moved them into a 37 QT tank. What i think i had was ick but it could be velvet not to sure and i dont have any pics. I am going to go with the hypo treatment because i dont trust myself with copper. I was wondering if what my fish had was velvet is hypo going to solve the problem or am i going to have to use copper? Today is day 6 and there is no sign of anything on the fish and i will keep updates of them and put up some pics.

Thanks

Hyposalinity is not proven to work against velvet. But, if you had velvet and it went untreated, you likely would not have any live fish left. It is a fast killer.
