I have a solution for better cell phone pics

That second tank is very cool. I see it says BB rimless, what company is that?
The first tank is awesome also :)

So I need some mikec120 how do I go about getting some?

You can buy gels from most decent photography shops. Since you're close to NY you ought to have all sorts of options.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and http://www.adorama.com/ are both top notch places that carry a huge selection of gels in a variety of sizes and colors for cheap :). Heck, you used to be able to get packs of the small gels for free. Due to demand for them though most places have started to charge for them. Look in the studio lighting sections.

I would like to buy some gels for photographing my corals under LEDs, but there are so many options! What is the color name of the gel you used?
Thanks!

If you go to amazon and look up Rosco Lux Swatchbook, you can buy a book with almost all the gels in them, they are small because they are sample size, but they are large enough to fit over the phone lens without any issues. After you find the gel you like, you can either use the small gel from the sample kit or buy a roll of the actual gel and cut it down to size.

I got some from Mike last month. They work great!! Mike was very generous and gave me more then enough!! Thank you again Mike, I really appreciate it bud!!

good product advice thanks!

shipping was 1/2 the price via Adorama on that same product, so I picked up the one from them instead of Amazon.

I got some from Mike last month to and they worked great. He gave me a few different filters. Make sure to turn on camera after you put filter on your phone

Bit of a necro-post but has anyone found a common gel that generally works well? I'm looking at picking up a filter or two for my dSLR.
