Steve, I can see about getting one in, we get them fairly regularly. They are from the Marshall's occasionally Hawaii. I've seen 6 or so I'd say Richard has one. They can be very mean tho, real bullies as far as wrasses go. ^^ We have a Sohal @ the store now too if you need one =] and a few clown tangs. I'll have to check on pricing. I'll PM you with more details as I get them.
chris, thats actually what i was planning on doing. im gonna wait till we get back down there in july and wait for dave to have a good one in. pm me with what the usual pricing is if you dont mind. thanks, call me!<~~~steve

I've occasionally seen this. Tangs just showing them a good time is all. Give them about a few days they'll be best buddies.

I do hope so, we couldn't find the wrasse since yesterday. I finally found it behind all the rocks hiding. My Regal Tang is the bully of the tank. She stressed out my anthias and attacked them, they ended up dead. I think I need to put Dory with my Yellow Tang, we've had the Yellow Tang over 2 years now. Now that fish would kick Dory's butt, I think she needs it....

i did go wrasse shopping today, picked up a nice male filaminted flasher and a blue scale fairy. ill get a pic when they stop being pansies and come out for more than 3 seconds :) <~~~steve

that's a sohal tang, unbelievable beauty but a BAD BAD temper. I've never owned one myself but marvel at their beauty. its the same fish used in the reef central logo at the top left of you're screen.

I can attest to their beauty, and their temper!

Mine was the only fish my wife thanked me for buying. But that was short lived, his beauty could not keep up with his damage. While Lisa hated saying it, she too said he must go; so on his way he went.

Possibly a larger, less densely packed tank would work, but for me, going scuba diving in his world is where I will see him in the near future.

Steve, sorry to hear about the wrasse. However, everything is going freakin great with the regal!

I went into Fins today, and it was eating like a pig. They bagged her up and I took her home. Kept the lights off about 4 hours. I just turned on the vhos, waited about an hour and dumped some food in and she went straight for it! Im grinning from ear to ear. :)

go figure. the reason i asked was because my wife wanted one. seems like she always wants the agressive fish and the hard to keep fish. she come home after visiting the Chattanooga Zoo a few months ago and wanted a moorish idol lol.

This is the best I can do with a shy fish :) Colors are a bit off, but you get the idea.

The only thing I'm really worried about are the clams, but I can live without them if I have to :)

great looking fish chuck..... is it an indo or red sea? from the color/striations it appears to be a red sea. from what i understand thats a big plus too. congrats, its very beautiful :) <~~~steve

That is a red sea one. The throat area is yellowish. For the Indo-Pacific ones the throat is blue grey. The red sea ones are supposedly easier to keep. I have been wanting one for a long time but haven't seen too many that are in good condition. That one looks very healthy.
