I have algae but icp 0 nutrients

Hello, my results of icp test were 0.01 nitrates and undetected phosphates. I have algae so I know it's being consumed at rate it's being undetected.

What is the course of action need to resolve algae. I'm starting with the usual cutting my lights from 12 to 8 hours per day. Running my refugium when tank lights go off (cheato is growing so is doing its job).

Scrubbing rocks syphon out debris when doing 20 percent water changes. Cutting feeding to once a day.

Don't want to use gfo. Have I covered most bases?

Are you taking about hair algae? If it is, you could remove the algae manually, remove the rock and spray H2O2, add more CUC like algae blenny or sea hare. Last resort, nuke with fluconazole even tho its more for byropsis. Please correct me if im wrong.

Get a group of fish that will clean the rocks...I have a foxface, and tangs that keeps it all clean. I know this because I have a refugium and a frag tank, all connected to the sam sump, and the dt is the only one without any hair algae.
