I have Red Bugs, Please Help.

I just treated my tank a month ago with interceptor. I worried needlessly as it was the easiest thing to get rid of them. Half a large tablet pulverized and into the DT. The next morning couldn't find a single one. Started the carbon reactor and skimmer after 24 hours. Did a small water change and done. 5 weeks now and not a single sighting with the nano scope. Only casualties were one peppermint shrimp and one hermit. It's so much more enjoyable looking at the tank with no pests.

Red bugs are more of an irritant as I understand it. You can live with them.....kind of like herpes:hmm1::lol2:
There isn't a cure for herpes. A better analogy is scabies, it is irritating but not deadly and you can live with them. There is an effective treatment and you will do it because it irritates you besides, it is contagious just like red bugs. So, it is a choice whether you want the corals live with red bugs, which is cruel IM0, or eradicate them and make them comfortable, because you care for them.
