I Highly Recommend a 100mm Lens for Macro Photography!

Thanks to a dad that's into photography also, I inherited some sweet Pentax lenses (one of the reasons I wanted to go with a Pentax digital SLR). He decided a while back that he didn't need to use his Pentax film camera (PZ-1P) anymore, so he "loaned" me the camera and all of the goods. One of the more interesting items is a Vivitar 100mm, f3.5, 1:1 macro lens with a matched macro adapter. Man, is this setup sweet! I shot some stuff last nite with it...take a look...

Wow. Absolutely amazing... Maybe on the Tank Tour (if the club ever gets around to that) I can get some pics of my acros and stuff with an insane lens like that. Beautiful. You make me want to subvert my dreams of a subwoofer and Nintendo Wii for a Nikon D70 and macro lens. I've got no interest in photography other than aquarium pics
