I hope I get this guy

SO CLOSE LOL!!! I have to be faster lol. This is the PM "Wow this setup sounds fantastic!! and my tang loves caulerpa! However, before I had even seen your post I had already agreed to give the tang to Elliot. IF I had not already agreed your tank would have been more than suitable for my chevron tang. Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my post and describing your tank for me. You need to start a thread and show your tank off, I personally would love to see pictures!" Oh well, maybe next time. I have already reached my fish budget 5 days into the month anyway lol.

It sucks because the groupers really limit my fish choices and they hide most of the time. Any fish that I can have I have to buy at a large size and its not cheap. Sure its cool to watch them eat and they look awesome cruising the tank before dark, but they go through a pound of silversides in a week. I may take them out and sell them or and throw them in my fuge.

I saw your butterfly thread the other day on reef fishes, great looking fish! Ive always loved butterflys, I may try to add a couple to my tank before I add my new tangs and wrasses.

I wish I could drop my stupid tuxedo damsel in with your groupers. Cover your tank if you get wrasses because they will jump. I lost 3 over the last few years because I didn't cover my tank. My canopy and top of the tank doesn't set up well for a cover. My next tank will definitely have a cover so I can keep wrasses :)

I've never had BF's and really like them. The downside is they don't grow that large in captivity. I've read they might grow to 6". I'm hopping this is not true because I like larger fish. I'm hopping to get some growth by feeding them 5 times a day, 2 or 3 of those feeding will be through the auto-feeder. The tangs I had were great but they could get very aggressive and at times it was annoying watching them chase and flare at each other all the time.

I need to cover my tank. I just ordered some bird netting, Im sure I can rig something up. Well the $125 price on that chevron was an error, it was $175. I ordered a large red coris and a couple Raccoon Butterflys instead. I have never kept a butterfly either, these guys will be the first.

you can get a chevron tang juvi now at PIA for 120
Thats a great deal, there are some rad fish on there. Im just so scared of putting a potential $120 meal for my grouper in the DT. I could throw it in my fuge till it gets bigger, I bet it would grow really fast with an endless supply of fresh macro.
