Well after taking down my 225 last year. I kept the clownfish because my 9 year old had a meltdown when i was taking the tank down. well after just letting them chill in a 40 breeder, i decided to put up another tank. I bought a 50 cube. I built a stand this winter. Now i have it in the kitchen. I just have to get it plumbed and get the little ones transferred to the new tank. At the rate i am going i will have water in it in two more years!!!!!!! Here is the tank so far. I like the way it turned out.

Stand looks good. Is that a working drawer? If so how does your plumbing run?

ya the drawer works it just does not go deep enough to bother the plumbing. the sump will be in the basement right under the tank.

I have not talked to Mike in over a year. And i have no idea how long it will be before it is wet. I am acid washing the rock now. I am going to put it all together dry in the tank. I have to plump the sump too. It may be a while. I need to get it flowing before the weather gets warm enough to get the boat out.

I love the stand. I was planning on having a granite slab on top of my next stand for the monster tank. You just confirmed it for me. It really looks nice.

The good thing about a granite slab is that it is perfectly flat and will not bend. i love the look too. wasn't cheap but nothing is.

The boat BK is way more important than this just ask my kids. and if that wasn't enough i have a 1979 K5 blazer project too. too many toys not enough time

Got some stuff done in the basement today. This is directly under the tank in the kitchen. Getting stuff hooked up and wired up. Its getting closer i have to get the plumbing done. but it is getting closer to being wet.

Its a eshopps rs-300 It is 3 food long. It is bigger than what i need but premium had this one on sale a few weeks ago. And i can put some rock in it too so i don't have to cram a bunch of rock in the display.
