I just noticed that MTRAC forum has been closed

I wonder if the club has dissolved or if they are just using a different forum. It is odd that all the old threads are gone as well.

The MTRC BOD decided that the club as a whole no longer wanted to be a part of Reef Central, so the forum has been closed.

This is to Ask all MTRC members to stick together and do not continue to post on the MTRC Forum on RC! We have moved over to clay-boa and have two new Forums both Public and Private for members only. As a Board we have decided to literally blow up RC so as to insure that everyone makes the move to clay-boa as we all wanted for quite some time. Let me be clear as to Blow up, What I mean is for it to be closed and this will be done very soon. So it was important to insure all are aware of what has and will happen
I know that some may not be Famaliar with this site but it is every bit as good as RC without all the Mod interference in our business as we will be self Moderated on clay-boa and have many Perks that we are not allowed on RC
RC has been totally unfair to poolkeeper and without his ability to post this is a must do sitiuation, And a show of Support to your Fearless Leader Hehehehe.
Rick is in the Process of E-Mailing all paid members a message as to the move also and he is the one to contact for Access to the Private site we have at our Disposal. It is already up and Running awaiting your arrival. I hope you will enjoy are new found Freedom as much as we are proud to announce it for the Club.

And later in the same thread, when questioned about the action:

"Let me be very clear here, we are not forcing anyone to do anything. Simply stating all future club info will be elsewhere for you to access at your convenince. This is a BOD decision and was voted in favor by all 4 members, And is final in it's decision.
Any future comments can be better served Via PM as to keep our business Private as it should be.

So please, keep in mind that what you are being told by certain folks isn't how it went down. This is not a vendetta by RC. Actually, it's exactly the opposite, the above posts were made after a ranking member of MTRC was removed because they couldn't step away from a personal conflict with another RC member, even after being told to "take it offline" (and no, it wasn't a RC MOD). Like most bans from RC, this would have been a temporary "time out" to let tempers cool, but the above posts were made. We have been pushed into closing and removing the club by a small group within the club that evidently won't have it any other way.

Sorry for the long-windedness, but the stories and official postings about this floating around elsewhere simply aren't correct.
