My female latz has been looking in perfect health since I got her in last week. I needed to do it at some point, so I thought the sooner the better. I finally got up the courage to try to add the juvi latz and see if the female took to her. A half hour into acclimation(in tank, with a specimen holder, the female got curious and went up to the small one, not sure of what to think. She started looking a little bit aggressive, but not horribly. About and hour to two later, the female had calmed down enough, so I made the plunge.

Well, I found a few things out really quickly. First, the female is an absolutely calm and loving girl. Second, the juvi was not yet turned to a female. So far(an hour into it), they look like a perfect couple:). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything stays as it is and that putting the juvi in now was the right decision.

Here are photos and movie clips of the fish during acclimation and then together in the tank:

First, during acclimation:

totally loving this thread :) Not to mention the videos make it even better.

Your female is a real beauty too. I dont know what makes these fish so different from other clowns but they certainly have that little "sumptin sumptin" others just dont for me ;p

She is being SO sweet to the little guy so far. Hasn't made one move of dominance or agression at all. I think it'll be a while before the "male" is actually a fertile male, so until then, she may just be docile towards it.
