I know- its an awful video- but what did you expect from me?!

At the very leats, its cool video of my really cool Pteragogus aurigarius flaring and flashing at his reflection in the glass. I wasnt sure how much Id love this fish until I got him. Bear in mind too, there a lot hiding.

Jeremey thats not the Pteragogus reflection he's flaring up at, it's guy looking at him!!! For real though, I have a new appreciation for Pteragogus for standing up to a guy like you. Oh my what a big mouth he has!!!

That Conspic. looks thicker than it is long. Looking good Mr. Carter................

Looks awesome man, thanks for posting the vid! Father-in-law did get a little wiley towards the end ;)

Of course, awesome fish collection

You have an amazing collection of fish, I know I have followed other threads of yours when you have acquired said fish (most recently, the Wrought Iron IIRC) and it is good to see all the fish together in this video. Great collection indeed; I would not be hesitant to post more pictures and videos if I had a tank like that. That Clarion is a beast!

Well if i was your financial advisor, i'd tell you good job on spending your $$ on fish instead of a camera

What an absolutely dream collection of fish how long have you had them? can you tell me a bit about your favourites?

I can't believe that in the state that our economy is in, you see it fit to spend such absurd amounts of money on fish that are, at most, fairly nice. It's reefers like you that make us look bad.

......COMPLETELY JOKING :lol2:
Acquiring such exclusive specimens is one thing, but figuring out the science in getting them all to get along is just genius. Very nicely done.:dance:

The Pteragogus is awesome.

Guessing there is, but looks like there's a Chrysurus in the earlier part of the vid? Does he seem to be more of a rock clinger, or just a little camera shy?

Looks good! You know your fish are awesome!! I also was wondering the size of the tank, I know you have mentioned it before but it slips my mind.

What is that at about the 8 second mark, it looks like a toby/puffer of some kind?

The idea of people in a hobby that demands thousands and thousands of dollars for even a modest setup criticizing someone for spending more than them is quite comical :D

Thanks all. Yes, that is a young Chjrysurus. It has doubled in size since I got it as a tiny juvenile from LA, although it hasnt morphed towards adulthood at all, save a tiny bit of yellow on the tail.

I have a pair of Acreichthys tomentosus in the reef, and they dont bother anything at all (in that tank). I originally ahd them in my 30 cube to eat some aiptasia, but they murdered some acans and zoas, so they went to the big tank with almost all SPS, and have been great. The male eats bristleworms, and constantly has a bristle "beard".

I have never seen any pictures of your tank before and always wondered what you were keeping because you seem to be a wealth of information. I love your collection and would really like to see more!

R.W.

I would kill for a collection like yours :lmao: What are you feeding them? Mind sharing your secret? They look awesome.

Dennis

ahhhhh, I've seen this some place before.......hummm........repeats, ya know? LOL!

post some pics! Who cares what some people say? Why let THEM control you?

There have always been and always will be a.......................

You know you have a great looking tank when no one whines about the crappy video quality.:D
I love that clarion. How long have you had it?
Ben
