I lost my first clownfish/need suggestions.

I lost my first clownfish I ever purchased. I picked up the pair about 8 or 9 years ago, when I bought a used acrylic tank. They were the original owner's fish and they came with the tank. They've been with me during two tank upgrades and an address change.

The remaining clownfish is doing fine, but is looking a little long in the tooth.

So, I'm researching the different clownfish species and subspecies to try another pair in the near or distant future. The host organism (YES, THE STATIONARY ORGANISM IS THE HOST) :)for my clowns was a huge frogspawn that I've had for about 5 or 6 years.

So I guess my question is what species/subspecies would you recommend?

I would say whatever strikes your fancy. I know percs are boring to a lot of people, but I love them. I also like pink skunks.

Check this site, then do specific information gathering on the fish you like.

Thanks Minh. I bought Joyce Wilkinson's book a few years ago. I saw it for sale at an LFS a few years ago, and thought it made for interesting reading. I've been going through it over the last few weeks. Yes, anemones move around A LOT. I missed that point.
:)

dc, the red and black tomatoes tickle my fancy, but from what I have heard, they fight like mad. Plus I heard they get uglier as they get older. The clarkii complex I find intriguing as well as the black saddlebacks.

Oh yeah, my original pair are/were percs.
