I must stay away from CR.

Everyone should have gobies, blennies, jawfish, and mandarins (except Paul).

I want a really cool frogfish.
A really cool frogfish that doesn't cost a fortune, since I don't have a fortune.
I'm thinking very seriously about adding a display refugium to my 30g build to house one.

Lisa...these are different from anglers?

We have some neat anglers. One of them ate a decent-sized clownfish!

Janie...can we see pictures of your panda gobies???

WANT.
WANTWANTWANT.
I used to have one that looked exactly like that back in '96.
I named her Daffodil. :)
I don't usually name fish, but that one was special.
Those are Wartskin Frogfish, they've gotten kind of expensive nowadays, usually over $100.
I want something a little closer to the $30-40 range, and one of the ones that will stay smaller.
I'm not surprised you had one eat a Clownfish, they'll eat anything that moves or die trying, sometimes literally if they go after something that's too big for them.
If I'm able to get my refugium set up the way I want, I'll probably talk to you guys about getting one in for me.
Gotta wait til I'm really ready though.

I really like the way these guys use their fins like arms.

The anglers we've got do it too. They're super neat.

They're pretty wild, that's why I love 'em.
:love2: @ you for saying nice things bout a "big" fish that I love. :)

Well, bad news. Looks like the Pandas didn't make it. I hadn't seen P.Wee Panda since Sunday, and The Big Giant since Tues. PM. Water tested 5 - 10 nitrates today, but 0 yesterday. So, I did a 20% change and moved the few rocks around but could find no sign of either. I am dispondant over it.

I've heard they can be a little difficult to keep though.
I'm sorry.

I am sorry to hear that. :(

Did Mel really say something good about a non-goby??? i think she did that just to show she can :)
