Could be the bulb or balast or you may want to check the bulb connector first. Hopefully the bulb can be re-seated for a better connection, atleast starting here you can check the metal connector that the bulb sets in to make sure that is OK. I have seen several of these connectors fried on other lights but dont know about the orbits. On the other hand I have seen many balast go on current products. Anyhow I believe they carry a 1 year garantee and will take care of you.
Mine did that, strobed after warming up. I plugged a different ballast in.. same thing. I took the bulb out and found a small crack had developed after 6 months. I replacd the bulb.
