I need a "really" part time job....

I need a job, that I can work one day a week, can work 8-10 hours a day and maybe make $100. Short of selling semen or other fluids and/or selling the body that holds them in, anyone have any idea? I work 5 days a week 2pm-10pm and need just a little more to get by.

Start pay $10.00 an hour. I think only servers make that, and at most 7 hr day and have to work more then one day a week. But if you find one man let me know! lol cause making minimum wage ain't paying the bills.

problem is no restraunt is going to train and hire someone to work 1 shift a week.

You are going to have a really hard time finding a job that will let you work just once a week, and it will probably not pay anywhere near $10/hour. You could try like a landscaping business, or the like, manual labor may pay around that... not too sure

Heres a few options beside the typical restaurant gig on the side:

CNA Certified nurses aid. There is a state licens involved but you can read the book on your wn and challenge the exam, if interested I can get you the site with info. Its not selling your bodily fluids but it sure is dealing with others. Agencys tend to start at over 10 an hour and are very flexible with shifts. You can tell some when your available and theyll give you a shift if they have on, or othes will cal you as needed and you say yes or no.

Stagehand: Hard to get into at times especially if you dont have connections but I used to make upwards of 25 an hour freelanceing and takeing gigs occasionally. Find a local community theatre and volunteer for a few days to learn your way around backstage, its really mainly basic carpentyr and electrician stuff unless you get into sound mixeing.

Companies like laborfinders: Supply day labor mostly but they do have professinal positions in offices and the such, pay depends upon the job...... I dont know about up here but I know in west palm guys yoused to get like 5 dollars a sheet for hanging drywall. Backbreaking work but I know some guys that made a killing at it.

I know the pay will be sucky but have you considered something at Disney? I'm not sure if they have anything you'd like but I think they have those "seasonal" positions where you really only do work like 1 day a week or so.. im not sure ><

well, I work valet and we make over 100 a day. that is great part time job. check out our site. www.townepark.com We do hotels like gaylord, ritz, jm marriott, swan/dolphin, hard rock, royal pacific, and portofino bay. Lots of openings.

I was thinking of the day labor places and/or temp services. Would not be adverse to a day of backbreaking labor once a week. I actually have done "stagehand" roadie work, but problem is I work until 10pm on the weekends and my days off are tues and wed. I really need to work on tuesdays. I think my first stop will be the temp agencies. I probably am over quailfied for most of the day labor stuff, but would love to do some just to get some experience with contruction to use at my new home. Maybe I could get some free block and wood as a perk!

dont forget some temp agencies staff higher up positions as well, be sure to tell them your qualifications and that your not afraid of the backbreaking work either
