I need any and ALL Ideas to catch a fish

MY tank is pretty packed, and most of my LR is held together by small colonies of corals. It will suck, but I am almost to that point. I am going to drain it again tomorrow, and try to keep the tang out in the open so I can snatch it up.

I've used a "fish trap" with GREAT success.

Depending on the fish, depends on how fast I can catch it.
... sometimes it literally swims right in, the second I drop the trap into the tank, or there are times it takes all day. But NEVER longer than that day I put the trap in the tank. It helps to feed via the 'trap' too... or starve the fish a day or two or three.

Here's the one I bought, which works "good" (I've had better, with a 'swing' door rather than a 'drop door' type mechanism);

I was looking at that one. I am going to drain the tank again tomorrow, and if I don't get it, I will order that trap, and pray...

Got 'em!!!!

My brother gave me a great idea. I slowly plugged all holes and crevices with plastic zip locks, and basically made it impossible for the tang to hide in its favorite spots. Once I had it trapped where I could see it, I drained the tank completely. I had to move two rocks with minor coral casualties, but I got it.

Total time from starting to plug holes to catching the tang, and filling the tank back up was about 1 hour. Corals are all OK.

I had to frag a few corals, and still need to re-arrange the rocks back, but overall very little collateral damage.

Pics to follow soon.

There are way more bags in the back that pictured, but you can see it hiding in the corner. Thanks everyone for ALL the help and advice. I learned a TON, and thank all of you for that.

Now, the Tang will be happy in it's new home with LOT's of swimming space.
