Hello, everyone... I'm just starting my tank back up, and will be moving the inhabitants of my 12G nano into my 20-Long. On my 20 Long, I have a small refugium/sump (about 5 gallons total), and I would really like to get some caulerpa or other macro algae growing in the fuge.
The problem is, there are no local stores here in Tahoe, and there are no local reefers up here who have any extra macro to share.
Would anyone be willing to send me some small chunks of macro algae?
I'm not exactly sure how it could be sent, but I would guess a ziplock bag with a bit of water (duct taped well so it doesn't pop) inside a USPS Flat Rate Priority envelope ($3.85 to anywhere in the US... no matter what the weight).
Would the macro algae live for a few days without light? Do you guys just think I'm crazy for asking this?
