HELP!
I currently have a 125 AGA RR with a 30g sump in the stand. Minimal bioload, but growing quickly. I will be upgrading to a 150 g Rubbermaid stock tank in the basement as a sump, and using the 30g as a fuge. I'm thinkin that this will push my undersized Euroreef skimmer (which kicks butt, but still not enough) over the edge, and my tank will become a sludge pit.
I was given an old CPR SR4 skimmer (without a pump) by a friend, and have researched its merits to no avail. I did find the Rio 2100 pump with the RVT mod that CPR specs on it easily enough, but is it worth the money? Should I try to retrofit a Sedra 3500 like on the ER? how about a Mag 7 with a Kent Venturi? HELP!
I've also considered building a mega-sized air stone skimmer as I also was given a huge air pump by the same freids.
What should I do-I need HELP!
