I need some ID help please

I'm pretty new with sw tanks. I've had my FOWLR up for about 6 months now. I recently saw a couple things late at night and I'm not sure what they are or if they are safe. Any help with an ID would be great. Thanks for any and all input.

the first one is a coepod, they look like little bugs and are safe towards fish and corals. Many fish will eat them and they are considered beneficial.

the second is some sort of worm. It appears to be large and gray, which usually means they can be unsafe regarding corals. I have not heard anything about them being unsafe for fish or have seen or heard of one attacking a fish. They are almost always scavengers that will pick at dead stuff on the bottom of your tank.

Thanks for the link. I think the worm might be a Phyllodocidae of some sort. Any suggestions on removing it? Any predators that I could add? I haven't seen any damage to the few corals that I do have.

agree with first, if you have a ton, a mandarin fish(goby) will take care of them, but may eventually starve to death, the other is definetly a bristle worm sp. Dont touch with the bare hands, leave alone unless is a problem, easy to get if crawling on glass a night, set up some moonlights, use a flashlight.

The first one is not a copepod it is an amphipod. The second one is an amphinomidae or a eurythoe complanata which is a type of bristle worm. I have both of these exact species in my reef. The amphinomidae can give you a sting if you handle it with bare hands, but the eurythoe complanata is completely harmless. Both are great for your tank.
