Anybody swing me some extra rotifers in the Buffalo area??? I've got some clown babies at day3 and I seem to be totally out of rotifers.... I guess they crashed on me, at the worst time possible. If I can get them thru day7 then they should be fine on baby brine or OthiomeA so I really just need some to get me by.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Sorry I can't help you, but I've got rotifers in Rochester.

What kind of clowns are they? You may have at least a little luck giving them baby brine. If you can't get rots, it's worth a shot.

Try using frozen rotifers. Not as good as live but with a drop of selcon the babies will eat it, just clean up after they settle on the floor.

Thanks for the ideas guys.... I had already threw in some baby brine, but it looked huge in comparison to the baby fish,I knew immediately that wasn't gonna do it. Then I tossed in some Otihome A the really fine stuff and that seemed to at least float where the clowns could eat it, at least for a while. I kinda panicked and ended up finding some frozen rotifers at ARC..... they are definately the right size they just sink to the bottom rather quickly. I think the plan from here until like day8 is to continue with the Otihome A and the frozen rotifers and just keep stirring up the settled food several times a day and maybe do 2 good size water changes one in the middle of the day and one right before lights out at night.
