I ordered my new tank today
Starphire on all 3 sides.
Tank size is 109x40x27 - 509 gallons
Worldwide Coral's ordered tank for me.
Building this tank will be done by Acrylic and Glass Exhibits Inc.
 
congrats! very exciting, I just ordered my new tank a week or two ago. The anticipation is killer. I will be following along. Got any details, ideas floating around yet you are ready to share?
 
My current set up is a 220 and a 125 both reef. I am going to move the 125 to basement and use it as a frag overflow tank and tie it into same sump.
My 220 is going to a buddy in orlando
 
wow. when you asked if you should go 3-sided starphire in the other thread, i thought we were talking about 1-200g tank.

what glass thickness is the tank? that bad boy will literally weigh a ton.
 
Just received email from Tom at AGE about my tank. FYI i think you will be closer to 8 wks.

The deposit from mine was taken on 5-5-11, & tank should ship next week. I did have him build stand, drip pan in stand & sump, so that probably added some time.

Don't get too discouraged on the lack of communication from them. From what I hear that is the norm, but easily forgettable when the high quality tank arrives.

Cool this is great news. What tank size did you get?
Why did you pick A.G.E.?
I have called A.G.E. and emailed them a number of times. Tom either answered the phone or called me back within 10 minutes. All emails were answered.

120" X 48 deep X 30" tall. 3 sides starfire. Everything is ready except sump.

Picked them because the reputation of quality. It doesn't hurt that they are in Dallas & I'm in Houston.

This thing is going in my bedroom!!!

Thats going to be a fun build. Are you going to build stand? I am going to go with AGE's metal stand and build wood around it.
