O.k I am fully aware of what will be said once I ask this, and I am a little embarrassed to bring this up. Consider it a rookie mistake and hopefully there is some grace.
Well, I was reading a lot about the benefits of garlic. So I didn't have any fresh garlic or extract, so I used garlic powder and mixed it with the food. The fish fed better than normal, but there is a STRONG smell of garlic in the tank. I didn't think I used that much. On a good note my skimmer has a nice brown froth coming out. I just don't want anything harmful coming out of it, I don't even care that it was ineffective as long as I didn't do more damage. On a side note I have a 1.5" yellow tang in the tank, it eats and picks at the live rock all day I have nori strips in the tank at all times changing them out every day. It still looks really skinny though. Is there a something that I can add to the diet to fatten him up. Agressive eater, just skinny.
