I sure hate to admit it, but I think my clowns have ICH. Pics...

So my clowns and all other fish have been out of my DT for almost 72 days now.

The clowns and two other fish have been through 4+ weeks of Cupramine copper treatment at .5 nearly the whole month or more. Never did it drop below .35

They have been through 2 rounds of PraziPro and I noticed that just yesterday after more than a month post treatments that the clowns had some white spots. They appear to be under the skin and raised slightly. I doesn't look like ICH, but I'm afraid it is. The fish were started on PraziPro again and I'm not seeing any changes. In fact, it's become worse. The weird thing is that the blue damsel and pink spotted goby don't have anything showing up.

Here's some pics. Please give your opinion on possible ID.

CAN U SEE the RAISED BUMPS in this pic?

It "looks" like ich, but something ain't right. You said it looks like "raised bumps", but the white spots should appear to be under the skin if this is ich. Also, some of the spots look too irregular in shape (not rounded), and too large to be ich to me. Then again, maybe I'm just being fooled by the zoomed in pics.

FYI; I'm pretty sure those are Ocellaris clowns.

Looks like ich to me. Even though you treated for 4 weeks, ich doesn't play by the rules. You could have had a tomont that stayed encysted during the entire treatment period. I had a similar treatment failure with CP recently - a couple fish started flashing after a 4-week treatment (40mg/gal) concluded. I ended up doing tank transfer to clear them. Since you only have a few fish, you might consider that treatment option since it 1.) targets the predictable phase of the life cycle and 2.) is pretty much foolproof.

The last photo looks like Brook. The first photos look more like Ich. How fast did it happen, any labored breathing or lethargy yet?

Not saying it is, copper can suppress Brook.

You can try a dip to see if it helps. But if Ich love TT also.

I'm almost thinking it's brook. I just saw one up at top of the water acting like there's no oxygen. Got another saying in one place on the bottom. It just came out of the blue. Like I said....4 weeks or more of copper at theraputic level. Then 2 rounds of PraziPro. Plus I had the tank on ATO when I was dosing copper and checked params almost daily. Got any pictures of Brook?

Ohh and other two fish have nothing on them. Just clowns. Has to be brook.

I just spanked that Azzzz with some Formalin MS. The good one.

Did 20 minute dip in 1 gallon of water per 20 drops. They started stressing hard at about 15 minutes, so after 20 I got really worried and put them back in QT.

update:

The Formalin MS nipped it in the butt. After the dip, I let them recover and then added 20 drops to my 10/G tank. By the next morning, all the spots were completely gone.

HAD TO BE BROOK.

Question...How do I know when it's completely dead??

I've done a dip...20 drops per 1/G. Then I've done 20 drops per 10/G X2.

You don't.

I just had it break out ******* again in my QT and are treating the fish again. I would be aggressive for 2 weeks at least, and dip transfer to a fresh clean tank at least once.

I had been dosing formalin in the qt 25 ppm at least for 6 days and still had the issue.

Funny part is my original clown that was patient zero, is still doing great 5ish weeks later in a different tank. Much easier treating one, now I'm dealing with the rest of the tank.

Reef, just as an example my DT was exposed, it took 2-3 weeks to catch all the fish. The last fish I pulled out was fairly stressed and broke out with it after a few days. I would watch any fish exposed at least 4 weeks after treatment. Not sure what Snorvich recommends, probably longer. For the last treatment, just to make sure I'm going to do a dip and transfer into a known "clean" tank.

Brook is so much worse than Ich, hits so fast and hard, really keeps you on your toes. So frustrating to treat everything with a fallow tank. Hang in there.

Yeah, I'm gonna play it very safe this time. I know what it's like to have a infected DT, and have a fish die here and there for no apparent reason.

My fallow days are up in 2 days. Getting ready to do TT.

All fish have had 2 rounds of PraziPro and been observed for weeks.

You know it actually took Brook almost the whole fallow period to show up.

I know it was Brook. Looked like ICH because of the spots, but something was off. The formalin dip and tx nailed it within 24 hours!
