Tank looks great Marv. Your peace coral really stands out in with all those zoa's!

yeah.. but it stung some polyps of the DareDevils (to the left of the Peace Coral -- closed polyps).... I had to move the whole colony out of its way.. but yeah, I do love that Peace coral.. it has grown really well for me.. I think I have 15-20 heads now.. :D

Thanks again Jesse...

Marvin,

Beautiful tank. I really love the look of zoa dominated tanks, and your rock work is really good also.

Quick question: on your sand bed, is that cyano or flatworms? I'm having a flatworm issue right now and my spotted dragonette isn't eating them (to my knowledge). I was wondering what you're doing to battle them.

Kind regards,
-P

a little cyano due to couple of nice size margarita snails dying and too quick acclimation of my new lights contributed as well... I'm seeing improvement everyday so there's not too much cyano on the sand bed right now.. I think in a month or so, it'll be gone... wish me luck.. :)

thanks for the kind comment...

Looking good Marvin. I predict a bigger tank pretty soon. I love your Micro collection too. How is the Rhomboid male and Lineatus getting along.

Sweet tank...time for an upgrade, huh?
Thanks.. I have a few friends that have suggested getting a bigger tank but for now I'm very happy with this set up... I just need to sit back and enjoy what I have collected the past year.. I'm getting a little exhausted but it's worth it to me.. :)

Thanks Marcel... micros are doing okay.. I'm going to post my micro frag rack on the LPS section when I get the chance... :)

as for the Rhomboid and Lineatus.. the expected squabble but nothing to be concerned about.. I'm guessing they'll be buds in a week or so.. :)

Great pics Marvin!

Any chance you could post detailed pics of your eggcrate frag holders? I've tried using a mag with some eggcrates ziptied but they seem to slump and doesn't seem as efficient as yours.

I wish I can but I didn't make mine.. I had a good friend build them for me... you need to super glue the eggcrate to the magnet, not zip tie it... make sure to sand the edges too so you won't cut yourself when you work on the tank...

good luck and thanks for the kudos..

zoa lighting

zoa lighting

hi just wanted to know what would be the best light to have zoa's in. im building a 10gal nano with live rock, live sand and just skimmer for filtration. some cleanup crew and maybe in the future a pair of clowns but not sure yet.

i just wanted to know if this would be good enough
