I think my anemone is dying...

Just got my first anemone on Saturday. It was doing great until I woke up this morning and noticed it was pretty deflated. Got home from work and it looks even worse. Thoughts?

It's a haddons carpet anemone correct?
I know this because I have one that's in exactly the same shape as you.
Dropped it in the tank and my angels destroyed it in a matter of hours

No it's not a haddons anemone on second look.

Ant other corals??

I think my anemone is dying...

That light fixture is prob not producing enough light for a nem. They demand high intensity lighting and I doubt 2 $50 units are enough. According to specs that light looks like each LED puts out 0.1W and LEDS for nem's are more like 3w each

It was advertised as a blue bubble tip anemone. I haven't seen anything picking on it or even paying attention to it...not even my clown

Not sure if it would affect it in a few days but it is very possible. They are very sensitive which is why a lot of people suggest not putting one in an aquarium until the tank is a year old.

I have a haddoni carpet anemone and That one in your picture is definitely not a haddoni carpet anemone (I'm 100% sure on this). Fron the tentacles on second picture, i think that is (I'm only 80% sure though) a terribly bleached Sebae anemone (h. crispa or malu) which is a very difficult anemone to take care of.

On that stage, I'm afraid the chance of saving it is about less than 1%.

Sebae looks correct to me...can't say if it's bleached or not. It looks like the tan one on liveaquaria. I pulled the nem last night and have it in QT. No changes

It is bleached. No matter how white it is. It should have some brownish tan to the color. Sebae is not a very colorful anemone compare to rbtas/gbtas or carpets. Petstores bleach them to make them look prettier, because after they get bleached, that little color they have on their tentacles will stand out and not be covered by too much brown.
These are normally how a healthy "white" Sebae should look like.

Looks like a bleached malu or crispa to me. And it looks like it's ready for the toilet bowl...
