I just picked up a false lemonpeel, or yellow angelfish. So far seems happy and seems to be a good resident.Hopefully it doesn't decide to mess with any coral. I'll be keeping an eye on him.
About 3.5 inches - it's a cool little fish bright yellow & loves to eat. It stands up to the Kole which I like cause in the beginning it got it's tail kicked ... which way are you leaning? did you make a decision yet?
No final decision yet. I think I'm going to give the flagfin a shot first. It's my favorite looking one, I just don't want to have to pull it out for one reason or another, but that's the risk you take with any angel I guess
Frankly if u are concerned about your corals enough that you would yank the angel if it starts nipping, then I wouldn't do the angel at all. The odds are not in your favor.
Stay away from Holcanthus Tricolor! Rock Beauties are not only hard to keep ( even if they eat, they eventually die from some deficency in diet) , they can be very aggressive.
Fish best left in ocean!
I have a Majestic Angel, and for the most part he has been a model citizen until....lately he has decided that the new zoa frags and lps is for him to eat!
I have had him for over 3 years now and I can hand feed him. He does keep the aiptasia under control so I would hate to have to pull him out.
