AN efflo is one coral I am looking to purchase but I can't seem to find a nice piece worth buying. I am now stocking my tank with various millies. Any help on the efflo anyone?

Check out the Atlantisaquarium.net efflo

it a term applied to the growth form of a coral. think thin and flat growth form. If you want to get technical it's defined as "Horizontal branches are highly anastomosed or fused and give off short, vertical, regularly spaced branchlets. Colonies have a central stem."

I always thought it was odd to see tabling corals in shallow areas, however after hearing about the flow requirements it makes more sense.

scarab that red one is AWESOME... id love to have a bright red tabling coral...

plating montipora's and tabling acros are really the only sps i like...

i know some of you think im crazy now, but you know what they say "there's no accounting for taste..."

Thanks guys...

Matt, I don't think you are crazy at all. Tabling acros and plating montis are my faves as well and since I can't keep a plating monti to save my life, I'm stuck with tabling acros.

Only constraint is that I have a small tank and tabling acros do take up lots of real estate. But they are lovely corals.
