I want to... Grow Aiptasia.

Yeah I know its weird but I know Copperband butterflies eat it and I would feel more comfortable knowing there is something in the tank for him. Right now I'm trying to get him onto frozen brine but he's just not interested. I put Live BBS in there too and flake. Not intereted! He does, however, constantly seach the rocks for things. So I'm thinking if I take out my peppermint shirmp and put them into my reef tank then start a lil 10g with some rock and aiptasia then I could kinda switch out some rocks every once in a while with rock from the 75g with the Copperband. Does anybody know what I could do to help spead up the growth of the aiptasia in my 10g? I figure if this doesn't work then I'll just put the peppermint shrimp right back. Think I'm crazy?

i believe they reproduce when injured, like when they loose an arm or something, can someone second that?, there was a thread on here with a guy who had a aptasia tank try searching for it, if the do reporduce that way maybe squishing one may help

Feeding them will help, as well. Some brine shrimp or fish food, they're not picky.
