I was expecting this

I ordered two fish from LA this week. Been waiting months to get. A pink margin male wrasse and a lemon peel mimic. The mimic is gorgeous. Ive had a smaller one in the past and my blenny killed it. This time I went bigger. The last one was a saint. This lemon peel is attacking this big male wrasse ON THE 2nd day in quarantine. Introduced at same time into tub/tranfer tank. The tang is about an inch longer than the wrasse at best. Is this normal? Just stress from surrounding? I was led to be many acanthurus tangs were community safe esp. When added last, which will be the case.

Give me advice.

I'm going to do a seperate quarantine tank for the wrasse tonight. But I always do ttm first off the bat then three weeks in a community 20g long for prazi and obv. I don't have enough equip. To do two at the same time.
Oh the blenny is gone from the display tank now.

Okay. I have one for DT acclimation. Id like to get ttm done on both then get them in the 20g where I can easily implement the cage though, also the light cycle and flow is much better as well as cycled so I don't have to be scared to feed.

Yea I was talking with a mimic owner who suggested that last night. Ill see if I can find the elusive sheet of egg crate.

Yes, the Mimic can be aggressive. Mines was aggressive in a 5ft 120 before switching it to the new 240. Now in the 240, he has come down a lot and really doesn't other anyone now.
