I watched some zoas release ?

consumed corals

In Memoriam
I just saw what looked like sperm or clouds of eggs being released by some of zoas. Has anyone seen this before? It was a puff every 2-3 seconds for like 2 minutes maybe by the time I loaded the battery in my camera and set it up I did not notice it again. I am going to keep a close eye on them tonight as long as I can stay awake...very busy day.. I have the cam ready to take still's and video. Please let me know if you have any experience like this. Thanks

Nope, not that I know of...
The movie below is probably not a spawning event. They have part 2 also...

There are more people saying they had their zoas spawning in their aquariums, but I never really saw any good picture of anything "puffing", like you've described.

Please provide more info:
How big is the system?
Fishes?
Do you feed your zoas? How often? Last time you did?
How old are they in your system?
Temp of the water?
Moon light simulation?
Photoperiod?
Type of lights?
What time of the day the spawning happened (photoperiod)?
How many polyps did spawn?
Water params?
Additives?
Skimmer?
Picture of the colony, please?
What color was the eggs/sperm?

I think that would be a great beginning for the thread...
I really hope you can get a shot of the event and that it is indeed spawning.
Please post a picture of the colony wen you can.
