i won't be able to come to the December meeting as something came up.
i entered some art into the American River Review Magazine and they got picked! its a big deal really, my teacher raves about how the magazine is the best college produced magazine in the state and is a big deal in the art world and that its a big bonus to have that on your resume. i'm thrilled i got in on my first try!
the thing is the award ceremony is on DEC 15th from 7-9!!! dang!!! i can't have my pie and eat it too, i had to pick one thing and well my parents picked for me and so i guess i have to do the award thing.
which is a shame as i planned to come to the fish meeting in the full body penguin costume i just finished (big cute happy costume that would have thrilled the kids). i will also miss out on the gift event and the raffle (and i already got a gift for the exchange) and worst of all, all the trades and purchases that have been set up for the meeting are now messed up!
from H2OSidhe i was going to purchase a green stripe shroom and some red skirt plays for $10 and trade one of my red shrooms for one pink/tank with purple dots shroom
Avalanche wolf was going to get a green hairy shroom for $5 from me
Ducmis i was going to trade neon green star polyps for a frog spawn
and with Raymond i was trading 2 kinds of zoas for a monticap
So if these purchases / trades are going to happen they have to happen another time. I am hoping we can all meet at the same place at the same time. I could possibly do this thing either this Sunday or the next. I'll let you guys know when I get a set day.
We could meet at a fish place such as O-street, Your Reef, Aqua Life or Incredible Pets on Manzanita and Fair Oaks (this is my first choice as its within walking distance of my house and I can WALK there if I cannot get a ride, as in i DEFINETLY can meet there).
But DANG! did the award thing have be on the same night!
