Icecap $250W E-Ballast FS or Trade

I am looking to trade my 250W Icecap E-Ballast. Its in perfect working order. Asking $75 local or $85 shipped. Also looking for an M80 ballast and will consider trades.

Hey Jeff, Yes, it will run an HQI bulb.

Unfortunately Mark, I would consider it if I didn't need to replace it with another light. I am planning to go with an M80 ballast and overdrive the bulb.

Does it come with the wires?

Wayne, I am not sure which wires you are referring to. I don't have a harness for it. However, with the MH ballasts, one is not necessary. It does have 2 wires coming out of the ballast to connect your leads. I will include the AC plug.

Can't you order the end plug with non-crimped ends and the ends to crimp on the wires and make your own harness via some local wire source and order the plugs online from an online electrical supplier if Ice Cap no longer makes it?

But I'd probably open the ballast up find out where the wires connect and remove and desolder the harness plug from their board, screw in a peice of rectangular metal painted to the housing and redrilled for the "current wire type" with wire grommet in place and just solder new wires like the current version.

Are you looking for the quick disconnects? If so, they still sell them as a separate item.
