Ich and Fish rot issue, need help!

I bought a swallowtail recently and she developed ich, luckily I quarantined her. I started treating with Kordon ich attack and a uv sterilizer because it worked on our blue tang. I don't think it's working in this case though, her fins have started deteriorating. I did a 20% water change to bring down my nitrates which were at 30 PPM's. What do you think is the best route for me to take now? Should I use Cupramine to treat for ich? What should I do for the fin rot? I'll start reading the stickies to try and help me but if someone had a direct answer for immediate help I'd greatly appreciate it! TiA!

Guys, is there anything that can help? I hate watching her suffer like this. I'm adding API stress zyme and stress coat. Any suggestions would help...please!

You will need to remove to a QT/HT and treat with either tank transfer method(TTM), copper, or CP. The fins could be the ich or a secondary bacteria infection. The stickies explain in detail how to treat for ich.

FWIW kick ich and anything else that claims to be reef safe will not get rid of ich. A solid QT regimen in the beginning will keep your DT free of ich and other illness.

I prefer tank transfer for treating Cryptocaryon (ich) as it's pretty much foolproof and only takes 12 days to treat. Neither Ich Attack nor UV will eliminate the parasite.

Thanks for your feedback! She was never in the Display tank. She was set up in a qt tank. What is CP?

I went ahead and ran to the store to buy another tank to try the tank transfer method. I'm beating myself up though because I did some things that I probably shouldn't have done. I used freshly mixed water and I didn't acclimate. Everything was going so quick in my head that I just wanted to get her out of the tank. Hopefully she hangs on tonight.

This is what I do in cases like yours. I put fish in QT where specific gravity is 1.008-1.010. That (hypo salinity) takes care of ich. I like hypo because it's the least labor intensive and most cost effective way to treat ich.
For fin rot, I use Furan 2 and it works very well. You can also use Maracyn 2 that was discontinued but some fish stores will carry old stock.
