Ich or stress?

I just got my naso acclimated and in the quarantine tank. Was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is Ich or just stress? Thanks uploadfromtaptalk1461783679961.jpg

That doesn't look like stress markings to me. History of the fish? How long have you had it, when did you notice it? Have you treated with anything?

Do the marks stay or go away?
I have a baby blonde naso that gets white blotches but only during lights out and feeding time, then they instantly disappear...

Those don't look like blotches though honestly

If you just got him today, wait until tomorrow and see what it looks like then. Naso's are notorious for strange spots . I've had 4 in the past 2 years.. I have difficulty not getting them to eat but rather stay eating over a long course of time.
If he's eating, that alone is a good sign

I purchased kick Ich and rally by ruby reef. Do you think I should treat or just wait it out? Its not scratching or breathing heavy

That stuff is a waste of money, I'd research Tank Transfer method or cupramine if I was you. If it does turn out he has ich use one of those methods. I would keep a close eye on him though and try to get him eating and go from there.

It's not ich, that's for certain.
I would try feeding nori and keep lights out for a day or two

Ok thank you everyone for your responses. I will hold off on treatment and will just keep lights off for next couple days. I will keep y'all informed to his health.

Good luck. I'm 0 for 2 on naso tangs. I know many friends who haven't had success with them either. I think they are mis-classified as "moderate" care level. Seems like they are just hard to get to eat and very delicate.

I find the bigger you get them, the easier they are to care for , for some reason
