Ick getting bad after 8 weeks of hyposalinity

Seriously, some of us take time out of our busy days to help trouble shoot and give advice. If you want to be the guy that is friends with the OP and be arrogant then my time on this thread is done.

If the OP wants my opinion he can pm me. Good luck.

why so mad ? be happy.

looks like I made a new friend :)

give your opinion ... im not stopping u, I just dont see how u can see a dot moving in a picture lol

the PROS at this cant even tell from a pic, so if you can, share your secrets with us :)

you Quoted me, and now ure getting mad ... Ill just assume ure not having a good day ;)

Not true, a clear photo helps tremendous. I suspect a resistant strain and in that is not the same spots the OP is seeing everyday but new ones since the infestation has gotten so extreeme.

Resistant strain ...

resistant to what ? resistant to following life cycle of the bug ?

or are you trying to say resistant to hypo ?

if second one, then hypo works AFTER the ich has fallen off ;)

The video is not showing the ick.
Th emperor have the worst one almost the entire body is covered.
But 2 more days before I do anything dramatic

I know i'm not the smartest reef person on this website, but recently I had a bout with ICK and it was all over all 7 of my fish, all i did was soak dry food in garlic extreme, and fed it once a day and it took about 10 days but all my fish survived and are doing fine.

You sound like you suppressed it, but it's still there - Garlic extreme didn't kill it. As long as there's a host it'll survive. When your fish get stressed, it'll come back. I hope it doesn't :)

Removing some of the fish out tomorrow and all the fishes out on Monday. I will increase salinity and start copper

its ick, I have been dealing with it for almost 10 years

If it's been 10 years, maybe it's time for another attack on ich :). I've recently taken snorvich approach and did the tank transfer method. I've left the dt fallow for 10 weeks and did the tank transfer method. Now my achilles, black tang, chevron, and swallowtail are all sleek and ich free. Hope that helps, but re procedure is super easy

I bet you that wouldn't work on an Achilles Tang.

some people still swear by hypo salinity, but in 10 years in this hobby only one works for me copper
