I had pretty good success with Hyposalinity treatment. Im pretty positive it did not get entirely rid of the ich, although I left the tank fallow for 8 weeks, it did stop what seem to be affecting the fish's health. Now that I keep them relatively stress free and with a good diet it keeps the ich off.

Hypo cannot be done in a Reef tank. It will kill the inverts. Hypo must also be done with an accurate measuring device such as a refractomer. Hypo only kills ich, not Velvet.
Personally I don't believe in any of the ich products sold as Reef Safe. I've also never seen any published data on Reef Safe ich products. Only "Claims" by manufacturers or some guy saying "It worked for me."

So far there are no "Reef Safe Ich Remedies" that have been proven useful via anything other than manufacturers marketing hype. At the top of this forum there is sticky thread with a collection of links to valid information ich, Cryptocaryon irritans. Good straight forward and well researched information, no opinions or marketing hype, just good straight info
