Ick??!!

I just got this tang 2 hours ago. As soon as he went in my tank he was spotted(see pic) Is this ick.? He looked ok at the lfs. Is this just from stress? Will it go away by itself?

Nasos look like that whem they're stressed. I wouldn't be worried, just make sure that other fish aren't picking on him

Naso tangs do that when they are stressed. It will go away when it calms down. Mine does that all the time, whenever I do a water change, stick my hand in the tank to move or adjust things. You dont have to worry about it at all.

stress spots, wait about a hour then feed him, thats what i do and they mellow outt faster

Yup. And blue hippo tangs will also get very pale when stressed or the lights are out.
