Whammin Watermelons?

do these have a name?

and do these have a name?

My whammin watermelons have a bleached out skirt or its a lighter green than other whammin watermelons i have seen.... should I put it in higher lighting or should I keep it on the bottom of my tank?

WM are bleached a bit,
The other 2 are common pieces you can get at places like DF&S, Dr.Mac and other places. I wouldn't doubt that someone has put a fancy name on them.

Was it always like that when you first got them? What lighting system do you have?

Yea thats they way they came. I have 4 x 54 watt T5s w/o individual reflectors...... how long will it take for them to get that deep green color

Keep them in the bottom for a while, if color doesn't change maybe you can start bringing them up as the tank they were previously in didn't give them as much light as they wanted. They can also bleach from not enough light.

They were in a greenhouse so im assuming they got plenty of light

I wouldn't know as I didn't see the conditions they were in nor know the PAR in those holding tanks.

They green seems to be coming back in the skirts on the sandbed.
