ID crab

I purchased this crab as an emerald but he's growing pretty quickly. He was tiny about the size of a m&m and he's about the size of a quarter now and growing. He's munching on algae like crazy and not bothering any corals/fish. Is he def. a emerald or should I pull'em out if he keeps growing?

I'm always for getting rid of any crab I didn't buy on purpose, but I think you got a good one here. Keep the emerald.

Looks like an emerald to me. It it was me I would keep it, but I love crabs.

phew. thanks alot for the id. I thought maybe I bought something else by accident. He seemed so big, mean, and scary looking. :lol:
