ID ideas please

Second pic is a shell with tube worms on ends. I'm interested in the algea or plant growing...it looks like vine or flower. Ist pic has what looks like ridges. I thought maybe sponge but maybe coral...wondering what you think. The shell can be easily removed if needed.

The first pic looks like an asterina starfish (the white thing). For some reason they are often only in bits and pieces, not complete starfish. Do a search for pics, and see if that looks similar.

The second picture, I'm not sure. The shape of the flowery things looks like hydroids to me, but I could be seeing it wrong. It kind of looks like a shadow of them being cast on the rock? Pics sometimes are hard to interpret, so I'm not sure.

Ok it moved and you were right... Asterina. I looked hydroids and could be. Crab walked by this am and ripped up some of it shoved in mouth so I suppose I dont have to be too concerned.

That vine/flower thing your seeing might be some type of Clavularia or something similar. These send out runners when they grow if I'm not mistaken.
