ID me please!

I posted abotu this thing a while back, but was not able to give a very good description, and noone had any ideas what it may be - well i saw it again today, in the same spot, and managed to snap some pictures:

any guesses?

i'm lookin for an ID of the darkish and reddish spiny thing in the middle of the picture - in the second picture you can see it extends further back along the rock - it is shaped and feels like a sea cucumber, only the spines are kind of sharp, but i've only ever seen it up on top of the rock work, in the exact same spot both times - it's hard to get a picture of it because it is on the back side of a little ridge in the rock

I think it's a sea cucumber and I had one that is yellow but only saw it once. It looks like this one here:

strange thing is, it never moves from that spot, or at least never seems to, that is the only place i have seen it, seen it there four times now, that's at teh top of the rockwork near the back

Sorry I didn't check that the link didn't go to #53 but that was the one mine resemble to and the only one time I saw it was near the top of the tank.

Also, it was about 1.25" and the mantis was still in the tak then and I don't know if mantis will eat small cucumbers or not but at lease not the big ones.
