I posted abotu this thing a while back, but was not able to give a very good description, and noone had any ideas what it may be - well i saw it again today, in the same spot, and managed to snap some pictures:
i'm lookin for an ID of the darkish and reddish spiny thing in the middle of the picture - in the second picture you can see it extends further back along the rock - it is shaped and feels like a sea cucumber, only the spines are kind of sharp, but i've only ever seen it up on top of the rock work, in the exact same spot both times - it's hard to get a picture of it because it is on the back side of a little ridge in the rock

strange thing is, it never moves from that spot, or at least never seems to, that is the only place i have seen it, seen it there four times now, that's at teh top of the rockwork near the back
Also, it was about 1.25" and the mantis was still in the tak then and I don't know if mantis will eat small cucumbers or not but at lease not the big ones.
