I thought the same thing originally but though better of it. I'm thinking it's something else. I'd let it grow a while longer for a better ID. Maybe get a better picture closeup of it too.
 
I agree with Dave. I don't just kill anything I find in the tank that I can't identify. It looks kind of like a majano, but I'm not so sure either.

If you are keeping a pristine tank and a majano is a big deal to you, then go ahead and kill it. Personally, I'd pull it out of the tank and isolate it in the sump or a shallow overflow and let it grow some. When it gets bigger it will be easier to ID.

I bring home lots of 'stuff' from the Keys that I can't ID or that are hitchhikers with other things I collect. There is a zoa that likes to grow in very shallow water on sponges. I'll collect my limit of 10 zoas (there are 2 of us collecting and the limit is 5 polyps each per day) and other critters come along as well. I have a small colony we just brought home that has a couple of different sponges, a couple of small clams and a Curly-Q anemone attached.
