I'm remembering the pic of A. allardi from my Burgess Atlas like 20 years ago  Am I close?

Great!Thank you for the confirmation, and WOW on that red/pink carpet, BTW!

Now, how about info on these guys :o I donated my GORGEOUS Aussie clarkii pair to a local breeder, since I think they would have been WAY too aggressive for my 110g FOWLR and butterflyfish. How about these guys? Size? Temperament? Ugh... impulse shopping :o

Simply love them, one of my favorites. They are large as clarkii go, and relatively normal in the head compared to chrys. Or caps

Two juvs went to a breeder and produced beautiful offsprings for him in a very short time.

I think you will be very happy with them.

Good to hear! I don't think I've ever seen an adult (knowingly) based on the pics I'm pulling off a google search.

Are you saying the allardi's are less aggressive than the 'normal' clarkiis?

Nice score Peter!
I'm sure some awesome photos will be following.

Marina, that pink carpet is stunning!
Not sure I want to know where you got it, cause I'm not sure I want to know the pricetag on em!lol

Hey thanks Davo. They are looking really nice in the FOWLR. Great contrast to the RBTA.

Well, the RBTA took a ride through the MJmod, so no pics any time soon of that mess

I'll clean the glass tonight and snap some pics of the clowns...

Well, seeing as I just pulled the larger one out of a pump intake where the screen fell off, I doubt I'll be taking any pictures anytime soon. What's up with the pump loving animals lately? Ugh....

Just to update, the replacement female (thanks Ali!) was a perfect match. No fighting at all. Her stripes are even more blue than the original.

Marina, I saw your post in another thread showing an adult WC allardi. Will captive raised specimens grow to look as good? IME over the years, I simply haven't seen adult clowns (generally speaking) with the colors of their wild counterparts. Anything I can do to promote this?
