Does anyone know what this is? It has started to grow near our star polyps. We lost a Yuma recently, in that area but it doesn't look like a Yuma to me. It has been steadily growing within the past couple weeks and has gotten large enough to get a decent photo of now.

In my opinion, it does resemble a small Yuma. Looks like one half is getting more light than the other though.

Take a look at some of my smaller yumas below. Very similar.

Hmm, thanks for the photo. I guess it probably is, but it definitely looks very odd.

I have a Yuma that has split a few times, and the new ones look a lot like this at times.

Hmmmm....My Hairy Mushrooms look like that when they have detached from the rock
