ID please - Pineapple?

Please help us identify our new coral. We bought this a couple of days ago. The store owner called it a Pineapple Coral and told us that it needed to be placed on a rock and not in the sand. Other than that, he didn't know much about it. Here is a picture from the store before we bought it:

Here is a picture in our tank yesterday, it has opened up nicely:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I agree, my first guess as well.

looks like a Galaxy Coral but if thats the case u might want to find a better place for it cause its sweepers can get pretty long
 
K in order to tell if its a Hydnophora as some have said or Galaxea as others look at the body its self if it looks as though it is made up of individual stalks its a Galaxea if it apears smooth its hydnophora
 
Now it is undoubtedly a hydnophora :) Notice the pyramid shapes of coralites rising from the surface, thats distinctive of this genus :)

Beautiful specimen, and very 'hot' toward other corals. Give it enough clearance, and congratulations on a neat find.
