ID please

I don't know if there bad but I've seen them when I dip my coral before I put them in. Don't know if it's bad or good. Hope some can chime in.

My Money is that it is a Chiton, They are pink and they are also white one's. The colors ID the sex Male/Female. They are harmless other than they eat Corraline algae as there main Diet. JMO

Think of Isopods as ugly bug-eyed leaches. They latch onto your fish drain them like a vampire.

If they are limited to your rock, I would almost guarantee their Chitons. They come in on live rock and if conditions are right they multiply in the 100's to say the least. I used to pick them out every night until i found out they are harmless. They are also nocturnal and you will see many more with a flashlight at night after lights out.
Mine died off after several years of thriving, Guess they ran out of food source on the rocks.

Yup, I had them all over my rock before my tank went south. They start out looking ghostly white and then get become pinkish purple (I am assuming from the coraline algae).

The color actually Id's their sex is what i read about them. They eat the heck out of your Coralline though, Other than that they are harmless. Will most likely disappear over time.
