ID please...

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the name of this anemone?
And can I keep this guy with other anemones?
I dont think this guy host clowns so I want to get some other anemones that does host clowns... Please let me know.

PS. You cant see it in this picture but this anemone has purple tips on end of their tenticles

probably a condylactis gigantea.. its an atlantic species which (you are rite) doesnt host clowns bu8t some have had this happen before..

what size tank?? i have seen people keep different types of anemones together but, be sure they dont contact eachother, and you may have to worry about chemical warfare, in which case you just run carbon..
 
That look like a Florida Condi or some similar Condi species as mentioned above. I have had one of those in my reef with a green carpet and never had any problems. Just keep them far apart. I had them on oposite sides of my 150
