Thanks. Lesson learned. I'm not sure what to do now... Get another angler or give him back to the LFS and get another fuzzy. They have a nice orange wharthskin in, and they've put him in the same tank with the other hispidus they have. Big dilema...

Hopefully I'm misunderstanding you, but anglers will eat other anglers just as readily as they eat other fish. It seems to me that you're planning on adding another angler to the tank with your current one (that just ate a fuzzy). You're going to end up with 1 fish or 0 fish if you do that.

Love the orange Toadfish, there was one in stock for almost a year at a store i worked at and it had so much persoanlity

This video sums it all up...I think everyone considering an angler should watch this one:

Hadn't seen this one! Thanks namxas. Watching videos like these are a catch 22 for me. They help fulfill the need for me to see awesome predatory fish in action, but make me want to add more tanks so I can add more preds to my collection. Self control is so difficult sometimes.

DOOD...talking "self control" to a guy who has 13 setups running...:lmao:

Stumped, think ur right. My first mistake was that seeing two of them woth two volitans in a 70 litte tank for a few months, didnt think they're such a monster appetite. The guy at the LFS keeps rellin me that he should be ok with other anglers in tank... Thanks for the video Namxas.

Haha yah I'm envious of that for sure. I'd love to be able to add another tank or two (or ten). Being in a condo and having my gf limit my addiction keeps me in check.

Yah the problem with them is they can live with each other or other fish in the short term if they're reasonably satiated. Long term (whether that's days or months), is a diffeent story. With enough time, everyone becomes a meal and it's last fish standing.

Wow great Video,
What an awesome fish. These were not on my radar...until now.

Research time! Seeking a type that will cohabitate with a Whitemouth moray, provided my LFS gets me the correct moray (They ordered me a whitemouth that turned out to be a non-whitemouth, still working on an I.D.)

Research, would suggest that my Aquapod 24 is going to be set up in my fish room as a species tank...and my wife thought that she was going to be able to sell a tank after I set up a big one! :lolspin:
