Anyone know anything about this nudibranch? Is it reef safe? Is it poisonous? Will I be able to feed it if I decide to keep it?

Or maybe bergeii, which eats aiptasia. Hint: where you found it is probably what it prefers to eat.

I found it on the shell of a cerith snail.

I haven't noticed any deaths of corals or other livestock. I also haven't added any live rock in months.

bergeii ? You mean Berghia.

Aeolid nudibranch, preys on cnidarians - Corals and anemones.
Might prey on other things such as bryzoans, tunicates, and sponge.

It is no good if a reef, probly mildly toxic, nothing your system should notice. They are very easy to keep, If you decide to keep it, offer it a wide array of softie corals to feed on.

Thanks Letmegrow! That's a pretty expensive diet. I think this guy's going to live his last moments in a trash can.

I just saw this nudi on an Animal Planet show. I think it was 10 most extreme body shapes. I couldn't remember anything they said about it though. It does seem like the things on it's back were poisonous.

They harbor the stinging cells of the corals or anemones they eat in their backs. Not too much of a threat to anything.

In a display it is best to get rid of them since they are hermaphrodites. If you have two, you could have more.
