I tried seeding my refugium with pods- first tigger, then tisbe. I didnt think anything took. Last night I was walking by my tank and saw movement in the light of my refugium and saw a bunch of these guys swimming around near the light. One of the larger ones had a red/pink hue- Can anyone ID the type of copepod (if it is- i do have a pair of of coral banded shrimp but I hear its near impossible to successfully breed them). I was hoping to introduce a mandarin into my tank- would these be suitable food? They average the size of a period in a sentence here- some a bit larger, some smaller. TIA

Freshly hatched cleaner shrimp larvae are a bit bigger than that, and I'm betting CBS would be similar, so I think it's safe to assume it's not one of those.

It may be a larval mysis shrimp though.
